1. When you write an essay, how much planning do you usually do? Are you the type of writer to map out everything you want to say ahead of time? Do you prefer to "wing it"? Is a type of planning that works better for you (outline, web, graphic organizer, etc.)?

Um you do A LOT of planing um you don't wig it bc then it will take longer to do but yea you do a lot of plaing you have to plan the way your going to wright and more thing like that. But you should never wing it tho. Well I would never wing it tho.

I do quite a bit of planning out, usually through an outline. It might not be for everyone, but it, for the most part, works for me. I definitely would not advise you to wing it. You really don’t have to do a lot with an outline. You just need a introduction with a thesis, body paragraph 1, 2, and maybe even 3 which will be structured depending on what type of essay you’re writing, make sure not to put info that should be in paragraph 1 in paragraph 2 or 3, again depending on what essay you’re writing, and a conclusion that doesn’t have to be an a paragraph but is just a reiteration of the intro paragraph, though a conclusion paragraph is more often than not optional so you may not even have to do it anyways.
As for your second question, I’m a perfectionist so I try to make fit as close as possible.
