Let the first number is x .

Then, another number is 2x + 2

According to Question,

➺ x + 2x + 2 = 26

➺ 3x + 2 = 26

➺ 3x = 26 - 2

➺ 3x = 24

➺ x = 24/3

➺ x = 8
