Calculation of the amount contributed

The ratio of the contribution = 1:3:6= 10

The amount contributed by Meera= 1/10× 500

= 500/10

= Rs. 50

The amount contributed by Wadima=3/10×500

=1500/10

=Rs. 150

The amount contributed by Nada=6/10×500

= 3000/10

= Rs.300

To calculate the percentage,

Percentage shared by Meera= 50/500 × 100

= 5000/500

= 10%

Percentage shared by Wadima=150/500×100

= 15000/500

= 30%

Percentage shared by Nada= 300/500×100
