Reflection : Think about how language is used in all areas of the ACT. Think about the
purpose of words in each section. For example, in Reading, conveying ideas and emotions
may be central. Concepts may be more abstract, like author's purpose. In math word
problems, that definitely not the case! In 1-2 paragraphs, reflect on language in the content
areas.
