hey i want to learn korean and want to start off with learning hangul. I dont know how to explain this but i hope you understand, you know how americans write english like “dance, or play” and they just use the alphabets to spell (a, b, c, d, e…) is that how hangul works? Like if i want to spell korea “hankook” do i just write the letter h then a then n then k, and so on, in hangul? I hope you understood. Thank you!

I think they have a stroke that representes each Hangul letter. they also have strokes they normally use that to write in I do know that if you spell it like "hankook" it is romanized.
