The Characters in Hamlet
Hamlet: He is unable to act during periods of tension because he overthinks and this sort of enervates him.
Gertrude: Lacks decisiveness. Prefers to speak for others rather than for herself and seems to be under the control of Claudius.
Claudius: Is portrayed by the author as a deceitful and obsessive megalomaniac.
Polonius: Has issues with a superiority complex and is seldom quiet.
Ophelia: She is irrational most of the time
Laertes: is blinded by rage and thirst for vengeance.
Horatio: Seem to be the most rational of all. Always thinks through all information that he is presented with.
