Assume the number of guests= $x$

Pans of Lasanga= $y$

$= > y = kx + b$

Now the two equations,

${3 = 10k + b} \: And \: 6 = 20k + b$

In both equations,

$k = \frac{3}{10} \\ b = 0$

Now,

$y = \frac{3}{10}x$

$Given \: x = 250$

$= > y = \frac{3}{10} \times 250$

$= > y = 75$

Therefore, 75 pans of lasanga has to be prepared for 250 guests.
