In the lessons, you learned about how much immigration was a response to and driving force behind the industrialization of the United States. Consider the case of Florida during the same period, the late 1800s, and how immigration impacted the state’s development. Three important groups of immigrants to Florida were from Italy, Greece, and Cuba. Do some research online to find out more about these groups and record your findings in the table below.
