What is a central idea of "Perseus and the Quest for Medusa's Head"?

A) Medusa and her sisters pose a threat to the Greek world until Perseus figures out how to obtain Medusa's head and take it home as a gift to the king.

B) Perseus must rely on the gods to help him visit faraway lands and complete dangerous missions.

C) Perseus doubts himself after making a rash promise, but with the help of the gods and his own skills, he is able to fulfill the promise and rid a country of their tyrant king.

D) A cruel king receives what he deserves after tricking people into making silly promises.

Respuesta :

I think the answer is C.

Explanation:

The other answers seem all false. Also, Perseus also takes the head from Medusa and takes it to the king to free his mother.  Also, it cannot be A, because Medusa did not have any sisters in the story, and it cannot be D, because that does not portray the story at all. It could be B, but it is very vague, and the main idea should be more exact.

I've read this book before!

I'm not positive

It may be Choice C

Hope I helped!

Have a Nice day-
