A lifestyle is the style of a person’s life. I disagree with the other respondent in that lifestyles represent the people living them because that is not necessarily true. A person may be in a situation where they are forced to live a life that does not reflect who they truly are. For example, if someone is an atheist but has parents who look down upon people who aren’t Christian, they may have to live a religious life that they don’t want.
