there is no true cure to depression. but I feel like truly spending spend and figuring out what is wrong and what the source is helps. I would recommend trying to heal from that source. truly figuring out what is wrong is the first step. healing isn't easy but, in the end, you are living a healthier more productive life. talking to people helps. mainly with realization, also to see how others in your life react to hearing about it. there's so many hotlines and people online who are more than happy to listen and just let you vent. you will never be completely happy. you will forever have bad days. that's just how things go. but with truly spending time to get to know yourself and truly spending the time to understand your emotions, it'll be easier to push through those bad moments. unfortunately, pain is just part of life. but with the right mindset and drive you can overcome anything. healing is a very long process. but if you also have trouble talking to other people about the way you feel and what affects you, I would definitely recommend a journal. or simply a notebook. I don't know how much this will help you, but after spending 4 years myself in a depression, these are the things that helped me the most.
