Hello There!

Question:-

2 + (4 × 2) – (16 ÷ 2)

We need to simplify the arithmetic expression.

Solution:-

The arithmetic expression given may be rewritten as :-

[tex] \sf \: 2 + (4 \: * \: 2) - \bigg( \dfrac{16}{2} \bigg)[/tex]

Firstly , Solve For Multiplication :-

[tex]\sf \longmapsto \: 2 + 8 - \dfrac{16}{2} [/tex]

Secondly, Solve for Addition:-

[tex]\sf \longmapsto \: 10 - \dfrac{16}{2} [/tex]

Simplify the Fraction:-

[tex]\sf \longmapsto \: \dfrac{10}{1} - \dfrac{16}{2} [/tex]

On Simplification:-

[tex]\sf \longmapsto \: \dfrac{10(2) - 16}{2} [/tex]

[tex]\sf \longmapsto \: \dfrac{20 - 16}{2} [/tex]

[tex]\sf \longmapsto \: \cancel\dfrac{4}{2} [/tex]

[tex]\sf \longmapsto \: 2[/tex]

_____________________________________

Henceforth,The simplified form of the arithmetic expression is :-

[tex] \boxed{ \boxed{\huge\bf \: 2}}[/tex]
