10. I believe the president is right because the athletes should have the right to decide wether or not they feel comfortable going to the Olympics in 2022. It would be wrong and unethical to make the decision for them.

This supports my claim because it looks like rather than acknowledging she is indirectly giving the idea that she believes the Winter Olympics should take place. Even though current circumstances.

13. I believe that corporations will not speak out about China’s human rights issues due to the great profits they make. This is proven with multiple instances, the biggest being with Apple. It might be good to state that Apple has moved their manufacturing to Vietnam due to complications between China and The USA. China’s minimum wage is much lower than Vietnam’s. Apple did not speak up because at the time Apple thought there was no other option but China. The company would be ruined if they had to speak out about these issues. There were so many possibilities of what could happen to Apple, we’re they to take that risk. China could ban them from manufacturing products there. I think that they were not speaking out about these problems due to the risks and many other companies are not also.
