Graphing a line is simple, by using a formula such as Y= 1/2 X you can determine the rise/run. Which is 1/2 and to graph you go one unit up, and then two units right, and since we have a white intersect of zero you would start at (0,0). And then you do rise/run one more time so you have created two points, and you can graph the line. Now it gets a little more complicated When you have a different formula such as Y=3/4x+8, Instead of starting at zero like the last formula you would start at eight. And then the rise of a run with three over four.
