The dissolved oxygen is usually gotten from the atmosphere or from plants

in water during  photosynthesis. Sunlight increases the rate of

photosynthesis increasing the dissolved oxygen.

The amount of dissolved oxygen is inversely proportional to the level of  

temperature and altitude of water. Longitude doesn't affect the amount of

dissolved oxygen.
