The traditional classroom has its advantages, but the advantages of online education surpass it. When learning online you get full control of your learning experience. Online learning has caused an increase in retention rates which means more people are going to school to learn. Also, you get to work from the comfort of your own home.
Online learning gives you the ability to help yourself. You get full control of your learning. Generally, students, write faster than they would in a traditional classroom. It allows you to work at your own pace, which is extremely helpful for students. Going over a lesson multiple times will help you retain information best, and online lessons help with this.
Retention rates are how many students return for the next school year. This gives the school a good name, which brings forth more students. Then the DOE will invest money in the upbringing of the specific online education giving students more resources to learn. Retention rates mean that students are learning more than they would in traditional classrooms.
Learning online is beneficial because you can work from your own home. Many students are bullied at their schools and cutting this off can help. A common problem that is brought up is that students can't make friends online. Students can still make friends and create bonds online via text message and they can meet up, which allows them to create these bonds, that they need to make, in order to live a proper life.
Overall, online education brings forth students that are prepared for the world and have a booster shot into the workforce. Learning online is seen as a difficult task in the workforce and showing that you have excelled in the task represents your ability to adapt. Online education gets funded significantly because of retention rates and it allows students to pace out their education. Also, (cyber) bullying rates, are down to little to zero. Hopefully, the leaders of this world will see how online education is the future and will let go of the traditional classroom setting, which has become a little too traditional for the modern world.
