y=-2

The equation of any line looks like so:

y=mx+b

Here, we have only:

y=b

That doesn't mean that the slope vanished; the line still has a slope, but it equals 0.

So we have y=0x+b.

Now, b is the y-intercept (where the graph touches the y-axis).

So the graph touches the graph at (0, -2)

Now, what does 0 slope mean?

It means that the line is horizontal.
