the slope is the rise/run
rise is how far up it goes
run is how far it goes from left to right

if you see the attachment,
I marked 2 points on the line
you can see it went down1 unit and ran 2 units from left to right
-1 is rise
2 is run
-1/2 is slope
B is answer
