Answer: y = -2x - 3

Explanation:
Equation of a line: y = mx + b
Sub in your values
-1 = -2(-1) + b
Multiply the -2 and -1 first
-1 = 2 + b
Next subtract 2 from both sides
-3 = b
And you’ll get b = -3
So we are given the slope: Slope = m = -2 Right? Yes...
The point is (-3,4)
So we can use the point slope to form a line like this|

y - y1 = 4 (x - x1)

Now we find the What is equal to x1 that is above and we only do that by using the formula like this...

X1 = -3,y1 = 4

Now we can use out plug values in the formula so we get

Y - 4 = -2 (x + 4)

Since we know all that we can now solve the Question and we do that by solving Y..

Y - 4 = -2x - 6

So the answer would be

Y = -2x - 2

Ok I’m sorry if this didn’t help or it did I’m not really good at explaining a lot of things but I just hope it helps you anyways good luck...
