WRITE LIKE CHAUCER
You are going to try your hand at writing poetry like Geoffrey Chaucer. You will create a “pilgrim” and send that character on a journey. This can be serious or comical, and it must be school appropriate. Here are the guidelines:
Create an original character
Send your character on a journey
Write at least 14 lines
Use iambic pentameter (unstressed / stressed syllable)
Write in rhyming couplets (at least 7 couplets)
