That animal would be able to adapt better to the different environmental changes which is good because if they couldn’t then they wouldn’t be able to live much longer. For example, for some aquatic mammals global warming is causing their shells to crack and they are starting to become endangered due to the heat. Knowing that they can adapt this means they won’t be affected by frozen cold or burning hot weather.
