In many environments, the temperature of the ground and the air right above the ground are both very similar in the middle of the night. Engineers have proposed developing a portable pop-up hammock that would allow people to sleep suspended in the air above the ground in emergencies. It will take time and money to develop a really lightweight, easy to collapse, low cost design. Before they invest the resources to do this, explain whether what you learned about energy transfer makes this an idea worth pursuing. Would suspending a person in a hammock, wrapped in one of the blankets you chose above, decrease the amount of temperature change compared to sleeping directly on the ground with one of these blankets?
