I find that the free Googl Slides application works well. You can actually search for it and go on the website, sign in to your Googl account, make a new presentation, and then put some pictures on the first slide. Then you can add some music by clicking Insert at the top left of your screen and click Audio. This way you can add some music.
If you want the slideshow to play automatically then, once you are done with your slides, you can click File, Publish to the web, set how long you want each slide to stay up for (under Auto-advance slides), check both boxes Start slideshow.. and Restart the slideshow... then click Publish and copy the link, then open new tab and paste the link inside, press Enter. There you go.
If you do not like this website then you can try a free program called OBS Studio. You can let me know in the comments if you want more information on how OBS Studio works but it is harder than Googl Slides.
