Q1). Rekha runs along the sides of a triangular garden whose sides are 35 m, 25 m and 20 m. If she covers 50 cm in one step, how many steps will she take to run once round the garden?

Respuesta :

Given :

  • Side of triangular garden = 35 m, 25 m and 20 m.
  • Rekha cover 50 cm in one step.

To Find :

How many steps will take to run once round in the garden?

Solution :

Finding the perimeter of triangular garden :-

We know that

Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides.

= 35m + 25m + 20m

= 60m + 20m

= 80m

∴ The perimeter of triangular garden is 80m.

↓

β†’ Now converting the 80 m into cm :-

1m = 100 cm

80m = 80 Γ— 100

∴ 80 m = 8000 cm.

↓

β†’ Now, finding the number of steps will take to run once round in the garden :-

50 cm = 1 step [Given]

1 cm = 1/50 step

Now,

8000 cm = (1/50) Γ— 8000

β†’ 8000 cm = 8000/50

β†’ 8000 cm = 160 steps

∴ The 160 steps will take to run once round in the garden.
