As we know that, in basic mathematics and algebra, 0 is additive identity and 1 is multiplicative identity, while the multiplicative inverse of any number is reciprocal of the number (say we have a number x, then it's multiplicative inverse will be 1/x) and additive inverse is the same number but with opposite sign (say we have a number x, then it's additive inverse will be -x), sum of additive inverse of a number and the number gives us 0 (i.e additive identity) and the product of Multiplicative inverse of a number and the number always gives us 1 (i.e multiplicative identity)
Hence, the required answer is A) additive identity
