Congratulations, you’re hired! And as the newest product designer for a toy company that makes toys for kids of all ages, you’ve been asked to create two new products, one for each of two different target demographics. But, good news, it’s the product designer’s choice! How will you identify your key demographics? Be sure to consider age range, gender, income and education levels, and family size, as well as other potential factors that will influence toy sales (e.g., factors such as disabilities, which may make certain ball games unsuitable for some people).
Describe both of your products and their target audiences in detail, making sure to explain in what way the toys’ features reflect your target audience. To begin with, think about appearance: color, shape, and size, then about things like the price, ease of use and so on.
