  • Given mass=1.8g
  • Molar mass of glucose=180g/mol

No of moles=Given mass /molar mass

[tex]\\ \sf\longmapsto \dfrac{1.8}{180}=0.01mol[/tex]

Now

  • Moles of Carbon=6(0.01)=0.06mol
  • Moles of Oxygen=6(0.01)=0.06mol
  • Moles of hydrogen=12(0.01)=0.12mol

No of atoms=No of moles×Avagadro no

#No of hydrogen atoms

[tex]\\ \sf\longmapsto 0.12(6.023\times 10^{23})=0.723\times 10^{23}atoms=7.23\times 10^{22}atoms[/tex]

#No of Oxygen atoms

[tex]\\ \sf\longmapsto 0.06(6.023\times 10^{23})=3.61\times 10^{22}atoms[/tex]
