I would say that the answer is:

The impact on the environment, complexities surrounding success and ambition, and taking responsibility. The Lorax is a cautionary tale primarily about a person's responsibilities to the environment.All of that chemical in the water was bad for the animals and the guy was also cutting the trees also.So this affected the environment the animals wont be able to eat or drink so they had to leave.When the kid planted the seed it helped the planet then they stopped using many things that needed energy and cared for the planet.
