So you can use a calculator do this. However remember that in when you have
a + and - =-
- and -=+
+ and +=+

Multiplication and division:
+x+=+
+x- =-
-x-=-
This can also be with division.
Remember these and you’ll be set till grade 12.

1. 85+(-96)=. -7-4=-11

85-96=-11

Also remember brackets means multiply/times. So in the first question you have 85+(-96)= So a bracket means multiply. So you multiply the signs. The plus(+) and the minus(-) which will give you a negative/minus(-). So if you know the sign rules you can apply those rule on these questions, in algebra and etc.
