• Since the triangle is isosceles, and has base of 4 cm with 2 equal sides of 6 cm, it means the height is 5.7 cm.

• Thus, area of triangle is;

A = ¹/₂ × 4 × 5.7

A = 11.4 cm²

• She will cut 3 pita triangles for every guest. This means that;

Area for each guest = 3 × 11.4 = 33.2 cm²

• There are 250 guests and so the total needed for the 250 guests is;

Total area = 250 × 33.2

Total area of pita bread = 8300 cm²

• The bread comes in 20 cm sides of a square shape.

Area of square = 20 × 20 = 400 cm²

• Number of squares of whole pita bread she will have to cut = 8300/400

⇒ 20.75 ≈ 21 squares of whole pita bread
