Respuesta :
It is limited by the number of primary producers(ie photosynthesizes such as plankton(marine ecosystems) or grass(land-based ecosystems) but is ultimately affected by things like weather. For example, if a certain area is experiences a drought, then there wont be enough water to feed the photosynthesizes, which will affect the primary consumers, and the secondary consumers, and ultimately the Tertiary consumers.
Answer:
Primary producers
Explanation:
Food web represents interconnected food chains present in nature. Primary producers are the autotrophic organisms (green plants) that are capable to carry out photosynthesis. By the process, they convert solar energy into the chemical energy of food. The food prepared by primary producers serves as a source of food and energy for all the heterotrophs of the food web. Hence, the number of primary producers regulate the size of the food web by regulating the energy and food available for the system.
