Identify an archaeological research topic that is of interest to you: “I’ve wanted to know more about X.” This interest might stem from something that you were previously exposed to during travel, watching videos, talking to family members, or from reading/skimming the textbook. Specify what this question/topic is and why it is relevant (why should anyone care?). Also, you must list at least 3 academic sources from which you drew ideas, inspiration, or background knowledge (academic = papers published in professional scientific journals not web sites or encyclopedia sources; academic includes online open access peer reviewed journals such as PLOS and many others). Your response should be no more than 1 page in length excluding references.
