Edward has 2 rectangular vegetable gardens. One measures 230 centimeters by 125 centimeters and the other measures 110 centimeters by 50 centimeters.If Edward wants to put a fence around both, how much fencing does he need to buy.

Edwards brother also wants to put up a fence around his garden that is 110 centimeters by 40 centimeters.

What is the difference in the length of fence that each will purchase.

ok so for the first one you have to find out the perimeter for both vegetable gardens.
so it would be 230x2=460 and 125x2=250 forever the first vegetable garden. you add up 460+250=710 and 710 centimeters is how much fencing he wants to buy!
same with the second garden, 110x2=220 and 50x2=100 220+100=320 and so he wants to buy 320cm of fencing for his second veggie garden

for the second question they’re still asking for perimeter so 110x2=220 and 40x2=80 220+80=300 so Edwards brother wants to get 300cm of fencing

the fact that i know this much doesn’t make me any smarter so i have no clue how to answer the 3rd question
