How does one come out to their parents? I’ll say what I want to come out as in the comments

I think you should ask them about LQBT like how they feel about the community. If they seem like they support you should call out probably I recommend a few days after you ask them about it. If they don't seem they support, you should come out when you are ready to move out so you wouldn't be in danger if they kick you out. hope this helps

I came out as pansexual and non-binary over text/email. My parents are very accepting so im incredibly lucky and i feel so sorry for those who dont have accepting parents.

Explanation:

How I came out was I was actually talking to someone online, (this was a person I knew in real life) and they were coming out to us over text and I really wanted that person to be my partner. In order for that to not seem random, I came out to my parents over text right there and then.
