The Arab League was an organization established in 1945 to coordinate political goals among six Arab nations. The original members of the Arab league included the Kingdom of Egypt, Kingdom of Iraq, Transjordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. Today the organization has 22 member states.
