I need to write an informative essay with a cultural history aspect..... Can some one give me some ideas? (i do like Chinese culture and other Asian cultures)

I would recommend you to brainstorm the ideas and using mind-mapping techniques extend it. The Informative Essay is the first one you will learn to write. -the making of the Great Wall of China

-Japan's foreign policy (Closed Country Edict of 1635) 

-effect dropping the atomic bomb over Hiroshima and Nagasaki had on Japanese society (and how Japan recovered from it, if it did at all) 

-Japan's motives for bombing Pearl Harbor 

-Affect of Westernization on Japan's modernization

- Analysis of the Ramayana (heroic epic) and how it influenced the morals, values, and ideals of Indian society for that time period as well as today

- Effects of Mongols conquering China on traditional Chinese culture 

- the Controversial Tradition of Foot-binding (its significance in history as well as its lasting effects on Chinese society and culture today) 

-the influence of Confucianism on modern Chinese culture (through the implementation of Filial Piety and other ideologies)
