The amount of hours the bat is awake, and how many hours the bat eats for. For example if the bat is up for 6 hours in a day and only eats for 2 hours, the bat can eat 1600 insects in each day. But if the bat is up for 6 hours again, and eats for 3 then the bat can eat 2400 insects a day.
