For a person of a diverse back ground to work around people of different races might lead to  low self esteem

Mental Health

The Mental health of a person who is constantly around people of different race is threatened if they are not treated with respect

Violence

When Gender or Race is not treated with respect it can infuriate the both parties and thereby leading to violence

Bad image

When one does not respect diversity it brings a bad image to the person as people around might question character and values

With no respect to a diversity Community might find them self not being able to communicate on pressing issues that require General attention
