Respuesta :
Cells have phospholipid type of bi-layer that is not soluble in water.
What is cells ?
- The cells are basic structural unit of living organism.
- The cells have mainly three parts: cell membrane, the nucleus and cytoplasm.
- The cells are responsible for the all process of life
Why phospholipid is not solunle in water?
- The lipid containig a phosphate group in its molecule is called phospholipid.
- The cell membrane is made of phospholipid which is not soluble in water.
- The phospholipids has hydrophilic head contains phosphate group and two hydrophobic tails which drive from fatty acids and joined by alcohol.
- This fatty acid is made of ten or more carbon atoms and having low density . So, it float on the surface of the water when mixed with water.
