The text structure of Growing in a Place is, Sequence. I know this biography is sequence because, The text went from Childhood to Young Adul then to Adult, and lastly Later years. In the text as a child, it says, " Lucy was interested in Plants she often joined her sister Annette and her parents on an energetic walk through the nearby woods." As a Young adult, it states, "Lucy became interested in ecology. Ecology looks at how living things interact with their environments. Lucy believe that plant life in some areas has been able to migrate over time she met this movement back when glaciers covered those regions with ice." As a young adult, it states, "in 1917 Lucy began to teach botany at the University of Cincinnati. Lucy collected plants from all around the country she photographed them many of them two-colored photography was still new at the time because of that people enjoy her lectures and slide shows a great deal," As an Old woman it states, "Later in her life, Lucy wrote many field guides. Field guides are books that identify plants found in a particular area. In 1950, she published her most important guide. It describes the plants in the forests of the eastern United States."
The text structure of "Creating a Nation" is, Problem and Solution. I know that this Book/Article is Problem and solution because in the story King Gorge the 3rd was having problems and had to solve them. One problem was, "King George the third needed money to rule his Empire." The solution was, "he began collecting taxes starting with the Stamp Act." The second problem was that "Most colonists felt that the Stamp Act was unfair." The solution was," They protested unit it was canceled." The third problem is, women protested the tax on cloth by weaving their own cloth at home." The last problem is, "After protesting taxes the colonists were left with the tax on tea." The solution was, "The colonists protested the tax on tea by participating in the Boston Tea Party where they dumped the tea on a British ship overboard." This is why I know the two stories were different from each other and that Growing in a Place is sequence and "Creating a Nation" is, Problem and Solution
