Waste water conversion to water that can be used for purposes other than drinking, is known as ‘waste water recycling’. In certain cases, where advanced technology is used, waste water is even converted to drinkable water, oen refer to as ‘Toilet to Tap’ process.

Water which is thus converted into reusable water is used in agriculture, gardening, washing of automobiles and other structures and in ground water replenishment. Where the degree of conversion is basic, it is most commonly used for flushing of toilets.

A huge quantity of water can be saved by waste water conversion, where fresh water would have been used, otherwise.
