Answer:
Conflict can be detrimental to one's emotions and relationships, but in a way, it can also strengthen it. The difference between the two types of conflict is that destructive is negative conflict wheras constructive is positive conflict. In constructive conflict, there is clear, open, and honest communication and the problem often reaches a solution. However, in destructive conflict, there are feelings of frustration, irritability, and stress. Also in destructive conflicts, the solution isn't usually reached and both sides are left feeling sad. But no matter what conflict it is most are usually resolved through careful reflection over why the conflict took place. This can be constructive because it makes people think and develop problem-solving skills. Although looking through a different lens conflict can be destructive if you're not communicating clearly or properly and this can be problematic and weaken relationships with others. All in all, conflict is not only destructive but also constructive.
