Answer: This quotation helps to illustrate the Civil Rights Movement, because as Martin Luther King Jr. said, “an unjust law is no law at all.” This means that he is suggesting that we should not obey unjust laws, and that we all have a responsibility to do so. Since people of color are treated much more differently than whites, that is known as an unjust law. An example of a just law would be both blacks and whites being treated equally. He recommended everyone to obey just laws because they would help bring equality and justice in the future.
