Walking: When walking or jogging in traffic, run on the LEFT side of the road so you are facing oncoming traffic. This allows you to see oncoming traffic and get out of the way quickly if necessary.

Cycling: When cycling, obey traffic laws and ride on the RIGHT side of the road, with traffic. Not obeying traffic laws is dangerous and could lead to a collision with a car.

Skating: Wear a helmet and knee and elbow pads. The helmet will protect your head in a fall. The knee and elbow pads will help prevent cuts and bruises if you fall.
