The ocean is a place of great biodiversity. It’s full of coral reefs, sea floors, and empty ocean, and it has many different species living within it. That being said, it is still limited within the confines of our world and it’s climate. The ocean contributes a lot to how our world’s climate works, but it is also heavily affected by external circumstances. It cannot self regulate. That means that, although the ocean is full of very complex systems, those systems cannot always have any influence on systems outside of itself that have the ability to cause harm.
