  • [tex]\dfrac{1}{ R _ t} = \dfrac{1 + 2}{6} [/tex]

  • [tex]\dfrac{1}{ R _ t} = \dfrac{3}{6} [/tex]

  • [tex] R _ t = 2 [/tex]

Equivalent resistance = 2 ohms
