Were abusers abused

I recently found out my ex abusive gf has a past of abusing and using other men

She pretended at the start to love me aka love bomb me

Do they ever change?

It just depends on if they mature throughout their life, but from my experience no they don’t change sadly I’m sorry you have to go through this

Are abusers abused? Yes most are. There is something that triggers them to be that way. However, if they are/were abused they have no excuse to abuse others. So no they don’t change.
