The Kristallnacht, or "Night of Broken Glass" was a campaign on November 9th and 10th, 1938. They rounded up some 30,000 Jews and sent them to concentration camps without any proper means for arrest them. Not only did they arrest Jewish citizens, but the Sturmabteilung (SA) (the Nazi Party's paramilitary wing) and members of the Nazi Youth movement led numerous riots across Germany burning and destroying hundreds of Jewish buildings and synagogues, vandalized thousands of Jewish shops, and publicly humiliated Jews in the street, and killing many.
