The point of view that gives the readers an insight from which the story is told is the perspective of the narrator in the story.

Who is a reader?

A reader is the person who reads the text writings created by an author. The text writings can be novels, stories, poetries, etc. In case of a speech, they are the listeners and are often called as audience.

The narrator or the character is an individual that describes the story in his/her own view points. It is being written by the author in his/her text writing. It could be analyzed from the pronouns being used in the text which could first person, second person or sometimes even third person. When the narrator narrates his/her own experience, then it uses the first person pronoun that is the letter 'I'.

Therefore, the perspective of narrator can be find out by the reader from the point of view used by the author.
