Answer and Explanation:

1. To call a work of art abstract, it means that this work has no commitment to reality and does not try to present a faithful representation of something from the real world in terms of structure, but uses different forms, colors and lines to represent something in a implicit and subjective way.

2. During his career, Kandinsky was inspired by many things. He had a strong inspiration in Claude Monet's works, impressionist art and great philosophers, but according to him, his biggest inspiration was music and its composers. He saw, in music, an abstract nature, which he wanted to represent in his works.

3. Kandinsky liked to represent feelings and sensations in his paintings. Feelings and sensations are things that are present in the real world all the time, but they are things that cannot be seen by the human eye. For Kandinsky, feelings and sensations could be seen by art and that was his goal when he became an artist. This is also the meaning of "making the unseen seen".

4. Kandinsky presented works of art with very deep and impactful meanings, since for him the duty of art was to encourage human beings to see what they could not see. In this case, he created works that needed to be interpreted, thought out, that generated reflections and stimulated human thinking on a certain theme. In this way, we can say that his works were loaded with wisdom and depth.

5. The types of balance in the art are called symmetrical, asymmetrical, and radial. The symmetrical balance is seen in art that seeks a perfect symmetry of its elements, presenting patterns that are exactly the same. The asymmetrical balance, proposes the opposite and is seen in works of art where the elements are presented in unequal ways, more free and less harmonious. The radial balance, in turn, presents all elements equally, as the symmetrical balance, however in the radial balance, the elements are presented around a central point.

6.  The painting I chose is called "Composition VIII" and in it we can see that Kandinsky used the asymmetric balance. This is because all the elements of the painting are positioned in an unregulated and random way, with different spaces and in a disharmonious way.
